A Musical Family
Harold founded Virtuoso Resources after he had difficulty finding a quality rental instrument for his five-year-old son, who began attending the acclaimed Special Music School in New York City. Harold was born into a family of musicians and graduated from the Juilliard School. He looks forward to meeting you and helping you or your children find the perfect instrument for your budget. Bring your child if you can. They love visiting the shop...often comparing it to the "wand shop" in Harry Potter!
Musical History
The walls of Virtuoso Resources are covered in our owner's personal collection of historical documents connected with some of the greatest string players in history, from Paganini to Perlman. We have one of the world's largest collections of musical autographs on display, including an original copy of Leopold Mozart's treatise on violin playing from 1756.
